Hi, I'm Amanda.
And I've been obsessed with color since before I could hold a paintbrush.
How it all started
I discovered resin art during a particularly rainy weekend in 2013 — I was bored and needed a dressing table. So I decided to use a vintage door with recessed panels that needed to be level. So I decided to use resin to fill the panels. I used fun, personalized charms and miniatures to add whimsy to the table top.
What started as a hobby quickly turned into something I couldn't stop thinking about. The way colors swirl and bloom in resin, the way light catches a finished piece. All the different ways you can capture memories to be cherished forever.
Resin Whimsy was born from that obsession. Every piece I make is one-of-a-kind, poured by hand in my home studio in small batches. No two are ever exactly alike — and that's exactly the point.
What I believe in
Every piece is unique
Resin is unpredictable in the best way. I set the intention, but the colors decide the final design.
Made with obsessive care
I sand, polish, and inspect every piece before it ships. If I wouldn't keep it myself, it doesn't leave the studio.
Small batch, always
I'm not a factory. I'm one person with a pour table and a playlist. That's what makes these pieces special.
